1. Khurja (129 km – 2h 48min)
This ceramic town is also known for it’s sweet, particularly especially Khurchan. There are more than 500 factories in Khurja which produce ceramic works and pottery. Originally Afghani artisans moved to this city during the mid 13th Century creating artistic bright hand painted items to use. So if you like pottery, don’t miss taking a day trip to Khurja. There you will find all kinds of tableware for sale in Khurja, as well as soap dispensers, trays, vases, and planters. Most are hand-painted in bright colors.
